A few weeks ago I found a seemingly fantastic and simple recipe to try.
It looked delicious.
Marshmallows.
Dipped in butter.
Rolled in cinnamon sugar.
And covered with crescent roll dough.
YUM.
They are called Hocus Pocus rolls, but I have also seen them called Resurrection rolls.
The marshmallow "disappears" while the rolls are baking in the oven.
Needless to say Tricia sent me to the store to gather these important ingredients.
Aka Marshmallows and Crescent Roll dough.
Trish and I assembled these rolls beautifully.
15 minutes later Tricia goes to pull them out of the oven.
I have never heard her laugh so loud.
:(
Here is the recipe in case anyone has better luck!
Hocus Pocus Rolls
One can of crescent roll dough
8 large marshmallows (one for each roll)
Melted butter
Cinnamon sugar
Preheat oven to 350
Roll the marshmallow in the melted butter
Roll the buttered marshmallow in the cinnamon sugar
Wrap the marshmallow in the crescent roll, pinching the dough together
Bake for 12-15 minutes
Sounded easy enough right?
Pfft.. Not.
